Mediterranean Curb Appeal

This house, in historic Congress Park, had a front garden bed that was south facing. This client wanted color but also order. We went with cool toned plants paired with soft textures to juxtapose the heat, as well as drought tolerant plants. Xeric irrigation was added for supplemental water.

Lavender, salvia, sage, wooly thyme, and nepeta are the key plants in the Mediterranean inspired side garden.

All sage green and lavender plants were used for this palette.

We reshaped the privet hedge, added leveled edging and a natural mulch to define the space in a tradition garden style.
